The customer service department is responsible for recording the utility meter readings, issues the utility billings, and coordinates work/service requests. In addition, the customer service office is responsible for the boat permit program which includes selling boat permits, and coordinates with the Lake Advisory Board.  

 

The Town of Lake Lure publishes a monthly newsletter, THE LAKE LURE NEWS and VIEWS.   The newsletter includes articles from the individual departments within the town, as well as articles from the various boards, committees, local organizations and businesses.   The customer service department is responsible for coordinating the articles for the monthly newsletter, and accepts newsletter subscriptions.

 

The customer service office is located in the municipal center/town hall. Office hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
